防災対策研修会へお招きいただきました。

We have been invited to the Disaster Preparedness Training Workshop.

On Monday, June 24, at the request of Glover2nd Co., Ltd., I spoke at a "Disaster Preparedness Training Session." This time, I was asked to speak on "Disaster Preparedness," "Fire," and "Emergency Medical Services," and I spent an hour and a half speaking and conducting training, incorporating my own experiences from 15 years in the fire service. The representative who requested the session commented, "Hearing stories from an actual emergency scene made me realize how important training is," which was very gratifying for our company. The main contents of the training session are as follows.

1. Talk on Disaster Preparedness (Participants learned about the importance of self-help, mutual aid, and public assistance, as well as key points of disaster preparedness, with stories from rescue operations during the heavy rains in Saga in 2019.)

2. Talk on Fire (While explaining how to use and what to be careful about with fire-fighting equipment in buildings, participants learned about the importance of initial firefighting and preventing secondary disasters using a training fire extinguisher.)

3. Talk on Emergency Medical Services (While explaining the current status of emergency medical calls and the actual situation at emergency scenes, I explained the basics of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and then conducted CPR training using a training mannequin.)

Takeo City, Saga Prefecture, suffered severe damage from heavy rain disasters in 2019 and 2021, and I felt that awareness of "disaster preparedness" among the citizens of Takeo has been increasing.

However, keeping in mind that "disasters strike when you least expect them," I felt that such training sessions should be held continuously and effectively.

Thank you very much to Glover2nd Co., Ltd. for requesting us this time.
