After trying Illustrator, I realized that each function is incredibly independent, and for example, there's a selection button.
The selection button implies that by pressing it, I am declaring my intention to select something from now on!
And so, there are sooooo many buttons and sooooo many words I don't know!
So for Oda, who has only ever manipulated shapes in Word, I'm at a complete loss, and it's not something I can operate intuitively!
That's exactly why people who can master this probably find it incredibly comfortable to use, and I thought, "Illustrator really is a software for proper people."

But learning this was also a big deal for me personally. I start trying to realize the calendar shape I imagined in my head, but soon
・How do I draw a line?
→I long-pressed the square.
・How do I delete just one side of the square?
→The path is connected, so I cut it with scissors and then used direct selection to delete it.
・How do I group it?
→Select everything at once with the selection button and press ⌘+G.
※But I still don't know how to deselect part of it.
・I want to fix the solid black background placed at the back.
→Lock the layer. ⌘+2
...and so on!
I look it up, try it, look it up again, try it again—
...and I'm constantly battling a Rattata in Pokémon terms.
To an Illustrator expert,
『How long are you going to stay in Pallet Town? Hurry up and say goodbye to Pallet Town already.』
...is probably what they think.
So, what I'm currently stuck on is
『Drawing a line』.
It's just a line, so what's the big deal!!!!
Even after selecting the draw line tool and pressing down hard where I want to draw it, the line just won't appear!!!!
...but even if it's a Rattata, if I defeat 1,000 of them, I should at least reach level 20 in Pallet Town!
