93 days left. I’ve moved 1 cm forward.

Hey there!!

I got a brow perm, and my eyebrows look thicker and more dignified, so this is Oda speaking in a lower voice!

#Kind of cool, right?

Today, I'd like to talk about my battle with Illustrator and what I felt during that time!

Before that, here's an update on my progress!

On Day 7, I said I'd choose a calendar company! So, I've decided on a company.

I chose it for two reasons.

1. The price is low

2. Their response time is fast

1 is, of course, important, but

Actually, between this company and one other,

the price wasn't much different, but

2. Fast response time (+ great content!)

was a big factor for me.

They quickly reply with, "Yes, yes! That's what I want to hear!"

I think this is definitely important when you're going to be working with them for a long time, so I'm going with them.

This applies to everything in work: to increase customer satisfaction, speed is what matters most above all else.

Rather than waiting a week for a perfect reply or result, I think it's clearly better to get a preliminary reply in 5 minutes, communicate a few times, and make it better in 10 minutes.

#An extreme example

So, I'll take this to heart as a lesson for myself.

#Even so, sometimes I forget to reply and get scolded, though

#I'll be careful, I promise

Anyway, back to the story about my battle with Illustrator!

Illustrator (Adobe Illustrator) is software for drawing, and apparently, it's used all over the world.

Of course, as someone who isn't part of the whole world, I had never even known Illustrator existed until now.

However, Illustrator is essential for calendar company templates!!

I figured this was something I couldn't avoid in my future calendar journey, so I decided to face it.

So, to cut to the chase,

it took me 3 hours to start editing the template.

#What are you doing?

#I can't move anything from here

Because!

No matter how much I searched YouTube or Google for

"Illustrator can't edit"

"Illustrator template delete"

"Illustrator template lock"

it would show me something that seemed to fit, but then it would introduce something advanced!

To put it another way,

I wanted an answer to "How do I start a 50m dash?"

="Ready, set, go!" Then, take a step forward with your right or left foot toward the finish line.

But YouTube and Google were like,

"Yes! I'll answer! To run fast, swing your arms vigorously, lift your knees, and keep your chin down!"

It was like that, so I was like,

"Sorry, you two! I'm not at that level yet!"

So, I really couldn't make any progress—or rather, I was stuck, and my stomach started hurting halfway through.

#Are you a wimp?

Then I thought, "I can't do this anymore!" and sent an inquiry email to the calendar company,

#I hesitated many times

#It felt like I was asking a professional athlete training school how to start a 50m dash and run toward the finish line

But when I asked Google again,

"The layer is locked"

kind of thing came up, and

when I checked right away, there was a padlock icon 🔐 somewhere, and when I clicked it, it worked.

#A problem solved in 1.2 seconds of work

#What happened 2 minutes after I sent the inquiry

#I wanted to undo the send

So that's how I finally got off the starting line and started running.

#5 minutes after unlocking it, the calendar company sent a message

# "The layer might be locked, so try unlocking it, Oda-chi!"

# They're too good

So, from now on, I'm going to spend my time making products!

Once I got moving, I started to understand the basics, and it looked like this in about 30 minutes.

#Completion: 4%

#What are the circles next to the numbers?

So, everyone! Will you support me?

You bet!!
