65 Days Left: My Wife Is Great

Hey there!

This is Oda, and in just three days, I'll finally be telling everyone in my special rescue unit that I'm resigning.

#I'm already nervous.

#My stomach hurts a little.

#Please give me a red ball.

Yesterday, I spent three days talking about all the hardcore stuff,

so today will just be like a regular diary entry.

It might not have much to do with preparing to start a business, but if there's anyone out there thinking about starting a business while raising three small children, this might be somewhat helpful.

Simply put,

I was more narrow-minded than I thought.

That's what happened.

I was looking after the kids all by myself,

and I had become incredibly depressed. When my wife came home and saw the room looking like it had been robbed, I wasn't particularly surprised.

I was just like, "Thanks!"

That's how it went.

Then came the mysterious report:

"Daddy didn't play with me at all!"

"Daddy was sleeping the whole time!!!"

That's what I was told.

It's out of the question to get angry at your kids,

but I simply got irritated.

#Pathetic.

#But it's true.

I sulked and went to take a hot shower.

#The plan to wash it all away with the heat.

And after about 10 minutes,

I thought, "Okay, I'll go back and say, 'Sorry for getting angry at you kids earlier.'"

But when I got back to the room, lo and behold.

The room was neatly tidied up.

I was like, "No way!" and said, "Thank you!" to my wife.

And she was like,

"Okay!"

"That was easy!"

That's how it went.

#Love.

Preparing to start a business is full of things not going well, and there are still many things I haven't been able to get to yet.

So I'm really, really anxious,

and it feels like 80% anxiety, 10% excitement, and 10% serious.

Especially when there's no time to solve problems, I get really impatient.

What I want to say today is,

When you're quitting your job to start a business!

I think it's 70,000% impossible without your family's support.

That's exactly why we should live our lives grateful to our families.

In a year, I'll repay my wife with something big! (^^)
