Hey there!
Since my work socks are always black, even if they're different styles,Idon't care about a single millimeter, this is Oda!
#Sometimes the lengths are vastly different
#Absolutely unacceptable for working adults
Today,
I'd like to talk about the theme that turning points are the result of repeated small decisions.
I'm currently on a plane heading to Okinawa.
It's a Peach Aviation LCCflight, so it's extremely cramped, and there's a huge foreigner sleeping with their arms crossed on both sides who looks like they might have been in the Rugby World Cup final, so I'm sitting as compactly as possible.
#Like an owl facing a superior predator
Actually, there were several mishaps on the way here.
After all,Ihad never ridden a plane before, so I had a lot of trouble from the moment I parked my car at Fukuoka Airport.
First of all, there were parking lots everywhere.
And I didn't know what the typical parking fee was.
However, having arrived in the area4 hours before my flight, I leisurely wandered around the neighborhood.
There, the approximate rates were,
・12 hours800 yen
・1 hour100 yen
something like that.
So I continued my stroll
and from afar discovered a sign that said『800 yen per day』
I headed to the parking lot to confirm whether『1 day』meant12 hours or24 hours』
approached the gate and looked at the sign,
it said『800 yen per day』
Yeah, which one is it?
So, my goal this time was not sightseeing, but to go greet the person who became a turning point for me, and since I'd be back in Fukuoka within about24 hours, I really hope it's
800 yen at checkout.
That's what I'm thinking.
Basically, I want the sign to clearly state it.
I learned that I should also try not to be vague when explaining things to everyone.
And then, after successfully checking in,
it was finally time for security.
#I haven't done anything wrong, but it's still scary, isn't it?
So I put all my belongings into a case, took off my jacket and put it in the case, and walked through the gate while holding my breath.
#You somehow hold your breath, don't you?
And then, after successfully passing through and putting my jacket back on,
『Nothing.』
『Nothing. Oh no, I don't have my boarding pass.』
That's what happened.
I started sweating7 liters a minute, became dehydrated, and immediately drankOS-1.
I immediately turned to someone nearby who looked like a pilot
and said,
#Definitely not a pilot
And the fake pilot searched the surrounding area, then held up a piece of paper to me from afar and beamed a smile.
I waved my face up and down as much as I could,50 centimeters at a time, and after receiving my boarding pass,I hugged thepilot.
And despite some flight delays, I've now arrived at Naha Airport and am waiting for the express bus.
#Only 50 minutes by express bus from here
#It's been 7 and a half hours since I left home at 1:00
So, I've realized that creating a turning point means tackling and overcoming one small decision or problem at a time.
So whenever you want to change yourself, change your environment, or break out of a situation, face and overcome each small event one by one!
#It's okay to start with what to wear!
And so, the express bus will be here in two more minutes, so I'll visualize myself getting on it!
See you next week, everyone!
